The Health Ministry is rolled out its Mobile Unit for Covid Vaccination today (Thurs), with the first stop at the Sovereign Centre in Kingston.
The Ministry said the intention is to inoculate as many persons as possible, between 10 am and 4 pm.
To benefit, members of the public need only show up with their TRN and government-issued identification, or a letter from a Justice of the Peace.
Health Minister Dr. Christopher Tufton said bringing the vaccination to the people, shows just how serious the ministry is about saving lives and helping to preserve families and livelihoods, in order to disrupt the pandemic.
It’s not clear if and when the mobile unit will be going out to other parishes.
Meanwhile, the ministry is continuing its vaccination blitz today, in a bid to use up the vaccines sent from the United Kingdom.
