The Hanover Police have hinted at reprisal as the motive for last evening’s (April 20) double murder and the wounding of a man in the Cascade community.

Dead are three year old Kamoill Williams and 27-year-old Tavari Stevens.

Reports are that at about about 7 pm all three persons were standing among a group of people at a shop, when gunmen alighted from a Toyota motorcar and opened fire at them.

They were taken to hospital where Kamoill and Stevens died and the other man hospitalized.

Head of the Hanover Police Superintendent Sharon Beeput, said while the area is not known for violence, it appears that the incident was connected to a previous murder.
