Five time Olympic champion Elaine Thompson Herah was one of two Jamaican winners this morning (Sat), at the World Indoor Tour Gold Meeting in Birmingham.

Thompson Herah won the Women’s 60m in 7.08 seconds, overcoming a slow start, to finish ahead of Swiss sprinter Mujinga Kambundji.

Kambundji was second in 7.11 seconds, with Daryll Neita of Great Britain third in a personal best 7.13 seconds.

Stephanie Ann McPherson ,the other Jamaican winner at the event, won the women’s 400m hurdles in 51.39 seconds, while compatriot Janieve Russell finished at the back in 52.53 seconds.
