Yesterday (March 25), hip-hop mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs homes in Miami and New York City were raided by Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) agents.
Following the raids, photos and videos surfaced online of the 54-year-old producer pacing outside Miami-Opa Locka Executive Airport, with his private jet reportedly spotted within Caribbean borders.
According to CNN, the probe is being led by the US attorney for the Southern District of New York and carried out by the Department of Homeland Security Investigations’ Transnational Organised Crime Division, the official told CNN.
Speaking with CNN, law enforcement source familiar with Monday’s searches say that this is in relation to Combs’ sexual assault allegation.
The first suit filed was from Diddy’s ex-girlfriend, Cassie Ventura; the case was settled even though the rapper denied the allegations.
Cassie’s attorney at law gave a statement to Page Six stating, “We will always support law enforcement when it seeks to prosecute those that have violate the law. Hopefully, this is the beginning of a process that will hold Mr. Combs responsible for his depraved conduct.”
