The curfew imposed on Gregory Park, St. Catherine has been extended until 6:00pm tomorrow (Sat).
The boundaries of the curfew include Dyke Road, Portmore Villa Boulevard and Municipal Boulevard.
Residents are being reminded that during the curfew, all persons within the boundaries are required to remain within their premises unless authorized.
The community is being plagued by a recent flare-up of violence, with at least 4 people killed and some homes firebombed, resulting in residents fleeing the area.
Police have been conducting operations in the area, so far seizing 6 weapons.
