Beneficiaries of the government’s SET Cash Program, should begin receiving payments for September and October by next week.
Finance Minister Dr. Nigel Clarke gave the update while speaking in Parliament yesterday (Tues).
The SET Cash initiative which benefits employees who were laid off due to the COVID-19 pandemic, provides an 18 thousand dollar monthly grant to eligible employees.
The initiative which falls under the government’s COVID-19 bail  out program, was to end in August, but was extended until December.
