In their latest ad for Tiffany & Co, Jay Z and Beyonce cosy up to each other in the back of a car.
As a continuation of their “About Love” campaign with Tiffany &Co, Jay and Beyonce shot a short film titled, “Date Night” showing a playful side to their relationship. The video begins with Beyonce sitting in the back of a Rolls Royce applying red lipstick and wearing some jaw-dropping Tiffany & Co. jewels (including a 10-carat diamond ring and 6-carat diamond earrings). The video is also inspired by the New York City backseat taxi scenes from the 1961 film Breakfast at Tiffany’s.
During the video, Jay asks his wife, “Shall we have pizza?” Bey responds, “I think we need pizza.” After feeding his wife a slice, Bey requests champagne. “Like real champagne?” asks JAY-Z before they clink glasses of Armand de Brignac. At one point Blue Ivy crashes her parents’ date night, squeezing between the both of them. The two-minute video ends with Jay pulling off a flower petal and telling his wife, “He loves you” before they kiss.
As a part of their partnership, the singer’s foundation BeyGOOD and the rapper’s charity the Shawn Carter Foundation, Tiffany has pledged to donate $2 million towards scholarship and internship programs for Historically Black Colleges and Universities.
