Unvaccinated tourists will soon be welcomed to Bermuda.

Health Minister Kim Wilson stated on Wednesday night that the new rule will go into effect on Monday.

Non-residents 12 years of age and older who are not immunized are currently prohibited from entering the island.

The announcement came as Bermuda’s active COVID-19 cases fell sharply over the last week, down to 144. Seven people are being treated in hospital, but none is in intensive care.
