ANOTHER FIRE AT PREMIER PLAZA THIS MORNING

Firefighters are conducting investigations into a second fire at the Premier Plaza, in Half Way Tree, St. Andrew, this morning (July 28).

Loss is estimated at 200 million dollars.

This fire affected a shop on the ground floor of the plaza.

Today‘s fire comes a week after another last Thursday, which affected the roof of the building and a solar panel store.

Public Relations Officer at the Jamaica Fire Brigade Emelio Ebanks said today‘s fire started sometime after midnight.

He said one unit from the Half Way Tree fire station responded.
