NOT SPICE!
It has been over a week and people are still not over the fact a Jamaican did not win the award for Best Reggae Album at the Grammys.
During ‘The Brilliant Idiots’ podcast, host Charlamagne and Andrew Schulz both gave their two cents on who won the Grammy and who did not.
“If you ask me who should’ve won that category, Imma a say Spice. You know why? Cause I like Spice. I haven’t heard the music though. I heard Spice’s previous records but I don’t know her recent work”, said Charlamagne who also admitted that he has not listened to ‘10’.
Who won though was Virginia-based Reggae band SOJA, who Charlamagne referred to as a bunch of white guys.
Spice seems to have just let this roll right off her back, she told her fans (Besties) in an Instagram post, “I’m really still very humbled and grateful, I see all your support and disappointments but you know we never give up, we back at it again tomorrow‼️”. She has since dropped visuals for her two latest singles, “Different Category” and “Jiggle” with Demarco and Meeka.
