Jamaica has recorded 5 more Covid-19 deaths, pushing that tally to 1,028.
The Ministry of Health is also reporting 61 new positive cases, pushing the country’s total confirmed cases to 49, 564.
Of the new cases, 31 are males, 30 females, with ages ranging from 2 years to 80 years.
Kingston and St. Andrew had the highest number of cases with 17, followed by St. Catherine with 13.
151 persons have recovered in the last 24 hours, pushing total recoveries to 28, 333.
There are 19, 836 active cases.
