Sees a High Pressure Ridge across the Caribbean Basin. Additionally, there is a Low-Level Jet Stream across the central Caribbean.
The Met Office says this Ridge will remain across the region through to Monday. The Jet stream winds are expected to linger through to Saturday and is mainly across southern parishes and coastal areas.
A Low-Level Jet Stream is a narrow band of fast flowing wind in the lower levels of the atmosphere.
