There’s a Frontal System stalling just northwest of Jamaica.

The Met Office says this a Stationary Front stalls just northwest of Jamaica and is expected to gradually dissipate later today.

Thereafter, a High Pressure Ridge is expected to build across the island. Expect an increase in windy conditions across coastal areas.

This morning will see showers mainly across sections of northern and southeastern parishes.

This afternoon expect more showers mainly across northern parishes.

Tonight will be partly cloudy, cool and windy.

There is a small craft warning now in effect for inshore and offshore areas of the north coast to due to strong winds and roughs seas.

Maximum temperature expected for Kingston today is 30 degrees Celsius, Montego Bay today is 29 degrees Celsius.
