Taxi operators are to get another fare increase.
Transport Minister Audley Shaw made the revelation on Thursday.
He cited the recently granted 15 percent fare increase, noting that the government is aware of the challenges being faced by operators
Meanwhile, he has warned public passenger vehicle operators, who overcharge fares, that the practice will not be tolerated.
Speaking at an event in Kingston, Mr Shaw said the police and transport authority will be doubling efforts to clamp down on the practice.
