JAMAICA’S REGGAE GIRLZ BEAT BERMUDA 4-0 IN OPENING WORLD CUP QUALIFIER

Jamaica’s Reggae Girls led by two late goals from captain Khadija Shaw, stormed to an easy victory over Bermuda in their CONCACAF preliminary round World Cup Qualifier last evening inside the National Stadium.

19 year old Jody Brown got the scoring underway in 21 minutes and Trudy Carter doubled the lead on minute 30.

Shaw then struck twice in minute 80 and then in time added on to complete the Reggae Girlz triumph.

The Reggae Girlz delegation headed by coach Vin Blaine, departs this morning (Fri) at 10 o’ clock for Grenada.

They will take on Grenada on Sunday at the Kirani James Stadium.
