The Transport Operators Development Sustainable Services (TODSS) is calling on all members of the society to be advocates for behaviour change on the nation’s roads.

TODSS President, Egeton Newman said his organization has embarked on a 70-day Public Education and Intervention Campaign, to promote road safety and keep the number of road fatalities under 400 this year.

Statistics from the Island Traffic Authority show that as at November 1, 339 road fatalities have been recorded, from 312 collisions.

Mr. Newman maintained that keeping road deaths below the 400 mark this year will require an all-hands-on-deck approach.
