A shipment of Pfizer vaccines from the Covax Facility, is due in the island by the end of this month.
Meanwhile, there is still no set delivery date for shipment of Pfizer vaccines from the United States.
Initial reports were that efforts would be made to have the US batch delivered by the first week of October.
Chief Medical Officer Dr. Jacquiline Bisasor McKenzie, said the delay in delivery has caused a further extension of the time frame, for administering second doses.
She is assuring persons due their second dose of Pfizer vaccine, that they will get it.
