The Soca community is mourning the untimely passing of Soca star Ricardo Drue.
The former Soca monarch of Antigua and Barbuda passed earlier today after being found unresponsive.
The 38-year-old artiste was pronounced dead at the Sir Lester Bird Medical Center in St. John’s Antigua and Barbuda.
Drue is well known across the region for his participation in the Road March and the Soca Monarch competitions in Antigua and Barbuda. Just last year, he got engaged to his fiancee, Soca heavyweight Patrice Roberts.
He was known for his Soca hits “Vagabond,” “Tornada,” and “Professional.”.
