Entertainer Popcaan is back in court today to answer a charge of breaching the Noise Abatement Act.

He was charged with this and other charges following an incident with the police on stage at his recently staged Unruly Fest concert in St. Thomas.

His attorney says he is contesting the charge because his name did not appear on the event permit issued for the concert.

On his last court appearance, he plead guilty to the charges of using indecent language, disorderly conduct, using abusive and calumnious language, and posing a threat to the police officers.

He was fined a total of 6,000 dollars.
