POLICE PROBING DEATH OF ONE YEAR OLD BOY IN CLARENDON

A one-year-old boy has died, after reportedly falling from a bed at his home in Pedro River, Cross Hill, Clarendon yesterday (Mon).

He has not yet been identified.

Reports are that the incident occurred at about 3:00pm.

The boy’s parents discovered him and he was taken to hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The boy’s parents are being questioned by the police.

This is the second child to have died in the Cross Hill community in the past two days.

On Sunday 13-year-old Omarion Haniford was allegedly stabbed to death by a mentally challenged uncle.

The accused has been taken into custody.
