POLICE MAKING GAINS UNDER OPERATION RELENTLESS II

Close to 50 firearms were seized in the last 17 days, since the launch of Operation Relentless II.

The operation, which was launched on September 23, targets criminal gangs, illicit guns, narcotics trade, and lottery scams.

In giving an update on the initiative the Jamaica Constabulary Force says 49 firearms have been seized.

In addition, over 500 rounds of ammunition, have been seized under the operation.

Meanwhile, three men were apprehended, following the seizure of a firearm, and several rounds of ammunition, on Grants Pen Avenue, in St. Andrew, yesterday.
