Police List 90 People As Wanted


Deputy Commissioner of Police Fitz Bailey has listed 90 people who are wanted for murders, shootings, rape and other serious crimes across the island.
Speaking during a press during a press briefing this morning, DCP Bailey, Head of the Crime and Security Portfolio said the level of crime in the Jamaica is intolerable and abnormal. He advocated for more severe penalties for crimes, especially for those that are gun-related.
DCP Bailey says persons  who possess illegal firearms should be sent to prison for life.
He cautioned citizens against harbouring persons who possess illegal weapons, noting that anyone who knowingly supports a person possessing an illegal firearm on their property is also guilty of a crime.
