The pilot phase of the Black Water Tank project, will be rolled out next week.
Prime Minister Andrew Holness gave the update in Parliament yesterday (Tues).
It will set in motion, the government’s overall plan, to install about 50 thousand tanks, across the island, to help in mitigating the impact of drought and building water resilience at the household level.
Holness said the Inter American Development Bank IDB has partnered with the government, to implement the project.
