The Opposition, People’s National Party is calling on the Government to convene a meeting with employees of the National Water Commission and their trade unions urgently to resolve the issues which led to this morning’s (May 10) strike.
Opposition Spokesman on Water, Lothan Cousins has expressed concern about the widespread impact of the protest.
He said the strike led to a disruption in the country’s normal domestic and industrial water supply.
He said the situation could have been avoided.
