IN ZIP INFO’S LATEST THIS HOUR……. The National Water Commission’s Corporate Communications Manager Andrew Canon has revealed that the entity disconnected the water supply of 2,947 households across the island since December last year.
This, in arrears owed to the Commission of just over $226 million.
Mr. Canon is urging customers to settle their accounts, to prevent disconnection.
The Water Commission launched the disconnection campaign after revealing a massive cash shortfall, which it said threatened its long term viability.
