New Reggae Boyz Coach to be revealed by JFF

55 year old Icelander Heimir Hallgrimsson is reported to be the new head coach of Jamaica’s senior men’s football team, the Reggae Boyz.

The former player, coach and dentist who guided his national team to their first ever FIFA World Cup Finals appearance at Russia 2018, is among four new coaches to be unveiled by the Jamaica Football Federation later t his week.

Hallgrimsson is the man to replace Paul Hall as the Reggae Boyz coach, having served before as the national women’s team coach of Iceland.

He was also an assistant coach of the Iceland national men’s team in 2011.
