National record holder Navasky Anderson closed out Jamaica’s participation at the 2023 Pan American Games in Santiago, Chile, with a bronze medal earlier this evening.
Anderson, took third place in a time of 1:46.40 seconds.
Jose Maita of Venezuela took the gold in 1 minute 45.69 seconds, with Jesus Lopez of Mexico taking the silver in 1:48.04.
Anderson’s bronze medal effort , carries Jamaica’s medal tally to six, 1 gold and 5 bronze, to be overall, 21st on the medals table.
