The Jamaica Constabulary Force is advising relatives of people in custody that all visits have been suspended with immediate effect.
The JCF said relatives will still be able to deliver basic amenities, items of clothing and medication at the Police Lock-Ups.
However, the police said the items are to be labelled and packaged in garbage bags to minimize any contamination.
