Alex Powell, Jamaica’s karting phenom said his recent trip to the island was exactly what he needed to relax and refresh before starting his preparations for the FIA Karting World Championships.
Powell prepares for what he believes will be the Kart Republic team’s season-ending victory and attempts to secure what would be a record podium place at the World Championships.
The American-born driver finished sixth in the famous competition in 2021, but he declared that he is eager to compete for the 2022 championship in Sarno, Italy, from September 15–18.
