Jah Cure could be given an eight-year jail sentence after the Dutch prosecution recommended the verdict in an Amsterdam court on Tuesday.
Jah Cure, whose real name is Siccaturie Alcock, is accused of stabbing event promoter Nicardo ‘Papa’ Blake on October 1, 2021, at Dam Square, in the city centre of Amsterdam, where he was booked for a performance.
Prosecutors believe that the artiste’s alleged action was premeditated.
Jah Cure is also charged with attempted manslaughter, aggravated assault or attempted aggravated assault.
The singer will know his faith on March 22, 2022.
