There is a Broad area of disturbed weather currently across the southwestern Caribbean Sea associated with a Low Pressure.

The Met Service says a Trough associated with this Low Pressure System is expected to bring unstable weather conditions across the island beginning Wednesday afternoon.

The forecast is for cloudy conditions with scattered showers, thunderstorms which could be heavy at times, to affect sections of most parishes starting Wednesday afternoon through to Thursday.

Additionally, strong winds are expected to affect coastal areas especially the south coast during this time.

Fishers and other marine interests, especially those inshore and offshore the south coast, should exercise caution as sea conditions will deteriorate in the vicinity of showers, thunderstorms and strong winds.
