Olympic champion Hansle Parchment and World Championships 400 meters hurdles bronze medallist Rushell Clayton were the two Jamaican winners this morning at the Xiamen Diamond League Meeting in China.
Parchment posted a sizzling 12.96 seconds to win the men’s 110 hurdles, which was a season best and meet record.
The Jamaican who took silver at the recent World Athletics Championship in Budapest, turned the tables on the American Grant Holloway who won gold to claim a third world title.
American Daniel Roberts was second in 13.03 seconds with Holloway third in 13.12 seconds.
Clayton meanwhile turned in a scintillating performance to win the women’s 400 meters hurdles., and led home a Jamaican one -two -three.
