Information Minister Robert Morgan has confirmed that the Jamaica Defense Force, JDF has been instructed by the government to mobilise its team of engineers to restore water to the country.
The order comes as many people have turned to various sources to access the commodity. The country has been without water since yesterday, when over 2000 workers, employed to the National Water commission took industrial action.
Essential Health services such as hospitals and schools are among the instructions impacted by the lock offs.
