The licensed firearm holder who foiled a robbery attempt in St. Andrew on Tuesday, is urging Jamaicans to always help people who appear to be victims of crime.

The man was able to intervene, after a female nurse was attacked by two robbers on a motorcycle along Seymore Avenue.

He said he acted when he noticed the robber kicked the woman to the ground, as he tried to take away her belongings.

The good Samaritan fired at the robbers, resulting in the driver of the motorcycle crashing the vehicle. One of the robbers was wounded and fell, but the other managed to escape.

Noting that its impossible for the police to be everywhere, the good Samaritan called on Jamaicans to assist the lawmen, in the fight against criminality.
