Education Minister Fayval Williams has expressed sadness at the passing of the Laing brothers in a house fire in Springfield, Westmoreland last evening (September 4).
Dead are 9-year-old Adrianno Laing and 7-year-old twins, Jayden and Jorden Laing.
Their sister was also injured in the blaze and has been hospitalized.
Minister Williams, who was speaking to reporters during a tour of schools in Kingston, said the children should have been at their school desks this morning.
She said representatives of the Child Protection and Family Services Agency should already be in Westmoreland to support the family.
