DOCTORS WARN AGAINST MILK CRATE CHALLENGE

Doctors have warned of serious injury after the milk crate challenge went viral on social media.

The goal of the Milk Crate Challenge is to successfully climb a stack of milk crates without falling to the floor.

However US based doctors have warned of injuries which include “broken wrists, shoulder dislocations, ACL and meniscus tears, as well as life-threatening conditions like spinal cord injuries.

And as the trend seems to have reached Jamaica, Medical Association of Jamaica President Dr Andrew Manning has warned of the dangers of the challenge.

Speaking with the Jamaica Observer, The MAJ president pointed out that the challenge can lead to serious problems, including a fractured skull, permanent neck injury, broken bones, and soft tissue injuries.
