The Digicel Foundation has extended registration for the Digicel Virtual 5K Run for Special Needs till Sunday, October 25.
Those who may have missed the original deadline still have a chance to register on the Running Events Jamaica website, www.runningeventsja.com.
Registered participants will receive a medal and an electronic finisher certificate signed by Jamaican athletes and Digicel Ambassadors – Usain Bolt, Shelly-Ann Fraser Pryce, Brianna Williams and Alphanso Cunningham.
Since the first 5K, nine years ago, 61.5 million dollars has been raised through the event and donated to organizations serving Jamaicans with Special Needs across the island.
Persons can run their 5K distance any time before October 31.
