Portland businessman Everton ‘Beachy Stout’ McDonald, who is charged with the murder of his first wife in 2009, was remanded when he appeared in the Home Circuit Court yesterday.
He is to return to court on Monday March 22.
It is being alleged that he paid a policeman to plan the murder of his first wife Merlene McDonald, after their marriage failed.
She had moved out of the matrimonial home two years before she was shot and killed at her gate in May, 2009.
McDonald is also facing another murder charge for his second wife Tonia. She was murdered in Portland in July last year.
