On Tuesday, Ashanti posted a video on her Instagram showing Part 2 of her pregnancy reveal.
This follows the veteran singer’s big reveal that she made in April, after months of speculation.
In Part 2, Ashanti showcases the reactions of her peers, her mother, as well as her fiancé, Nelly.
The video shows her video calling Nelly to make her announcement, but instead of the jumps and cheers of excitement, Nelly did not seem surprised. He simply smiled and said, “I already knew.”.
Essence magazine published an interview with the “Foolish” singer shortly after her pregnancy announcement in April, in which she confirmed her engagement to Nelly.
Social media had speculated that Ashanti was pregnant when the singer started sporting baggy clothes. Fans believed that this was an attempt to hide her baby bump.
