Uruguay were beaten 4-2 on penalties by Colombia as they advanced to the semi finals of the Copa America.
The game had ended 0-0 after full and extra time.
Argentina and Ecuador will both seek to secure the final place in the Semi Finals when they face each other tomorrow.
They will look to join favourites and hosts Brazil, Colombia and Peru in the semis.
