Dancehall lyricist Vybz Kartel donated to Jodian Fearon’s GoFundMe. Even though the deejay is currently behind bar he is not afraid to do his charitable work.
Jodian’s mother, Portia Haughton made a post on Twitter ( July 21)earlier this week thanking Vybz Kartel for his contribution to the movement:
“A big thank you to everyone who contributed to Jodian’s GoFundMe. Special thanks to Mr. Adidja Palmer aka Vybz Kartel for your donation. Dr. Ford thank you for standing up for my Jojo to ensure no cover-up. Isat Buchanan thank you for being so awesome!”
The deejay had asked the family not to publicize the amount of money that was given.
This act of kindness is not the first for Vybz Kartel though, as he is known for giving back to his community and Jamaica – including his sponsorship of a Robotics camp in Portmore. Also, in April of this year Kartel’s Family members The UTG Initiative Foundation Limited provided over 200 care packages to the Government’s Poor Relief Department.
Fearon died back in April of this year after traveling across the Corporate Area and being denied access to health care at several of Jamaica’s major hospitals. She was initially suspected to have COVID-19 but tested negative. Now her family is on a quest for the truth that she was misdiagnosed and they are seeking JUSTICEFORJODIAN.
