For the organisers of Reggae Sumfest, the cancellation of this year’s festival comes with an enormous loss, as uncertainty looms.
This as the country continues to fight the spread of the coronavirus.
After estimating that 98 percent of the artiste booking expenditure was already spent, Sumfest frontman, Joe Bogdanovich reported that the Reggae Sumfest team was ready to begin execution in the first week of March.
As we’ve reported yesterday, organisers had to pull the plug on this year’s staging which was set for July 12 to 18 2020 due to COVID-19.
Reggae Sumfest patrons have until May 27, 2020 to request a refund for existing online tickets.
The refund can be requested via the festival’s Eventbrite page, where they were originally purchased. Otherwise, tickets would be valid for redemption at Reggae Sumfest 2021.
