American rapper Lil Nas X reassured fans that his 2019 hit single ‘Old Town Road’ was indeed all about horses and nothing else after announcing that he was gay.
On Monday, The rapper posted the statement on his Twitter saying,
“old town road is literally about horses.”
This statement comes after some social media users started to share their analysis of the hit single. They questioned whether or not the rapper was talking about actual horses or something else, being that the rapper announced being gay.
On Sunday, Lil Nas X made the announcement on Twitter by promoting the 7th song on his recently released EP “7”,
“some of y’all already know, some of y’all don’t care, some of y’all not gone *blank* with me no more. but before this month ends I want y’all to listen closely to c7osure.”
Since then, his fans went into a frenzy with some tweeting that they would support him no matter what, while others confessed that they will not listen to his music anymore.
‘Old Town Road’ remains at number 1 on the Billboard Hip-Hop Charts for its 13th week.
