Sean “Diddy” Combs has reportedly made an unexpected trip out of prison after suffering a head injury, adding another development to the music mogul’s ongoing legal saga.
According to TMZ, the music mogul was transported by ambulance early Saturday morning, October 10.
A source with knowledge of the situation also confirmed to PEOPLE that Combs was taken to the hospital.
The injury was described as non-life-threatening, and Combs reportedly returned to the prison later that day, where he was placed in solitary confinement. The circumstances surrounding the injury remain unclear.
His spokesperson, said they were working to confirm the reports, adding that Combs’ health and well-being were their immediate concern.
The incident comes amid previous reports about Combs’ time behind bars, including claims that he had allegedly been seen with contraband items.
The Bad Boy Records founder is currently serving a 50-month federal sentence after being convicted on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution. His projected release date is March 2, 2028.
For now, questions remain about how the injury occurred, with further details yet to emerge.
