Jamaica has recorded 8 more Covid-19 related deaths, pushing that tally to 2,199.
The Ministry of Health is also reporting 136 new positive cases, pushing the country’s total confirmed cases to 88, 666.
Of the new cases, 49 are males, 87 females with ages ranging from 1 year to 103 years.
St. Catherine had the highest number of cases with 38, followed by Kingston and St. Andrew with 28.
180 persons have recovered in the last 24 hours, pushing total recoveries to 57, 362.
There are 28, 498 active cases.
