The Met Office says this Trough is expected to remain across Jamaica over the next few days.

Additionally, expect windy conditions especially across the south coast due to the presence of the Low-Level Jet Stream.

A Low-Level Jet Stream is a narrow band of fast flowing wind in the lower levels of the atmosphere.

This morning will see Isolated thunderstorms across sections of northern and southwestern parishes.

This afternoon expect cloudy conditions with showers and thunderstorms across sections of central and western parishes.

Tonight will be partly cloudy.

A Small Craft Warning remains in effect for offshore areas of the south coast due to strong winds and rough seas.

Maximum temperature expected for Kingston today is 32 degrees Celsius, Montego Bay 31 degrees Celsius.
