There’s a Cold Front across the western Caribbean.

The Met Office says as this Cold Front moves closer to Jamaica, expect an increase in unstable weather, resulting in increased cloudiness with periods of showers and thunderstorms across most parishes beginning tonight through to Thursday.

The Cold Front is expected to move across the island on Thursday, thereafter becoming stationary within the vicinity of the island on Friday. Cooler temperatures are also likely.

This morning will be partly cloudy with isolated showers across eastern parishes

This afternoon is expected to become mostly cloudy with widely scattered showers and thunderstorms mainly across most parishes

Tonight will be mostly cloudy with showers and isolated thunderstorms especially across western parishes.

A Small Craft Warning is in effect for offshore areas of the south coast due to strong winds and rough seas in the vicinity of showers and thunderstorms.

Maximum temperature expected for Kingston today is 31 degrees Celsius, Montego Bay 30 degrees Celsius.
