Just 4 days into the new year, Westmoreland has recorded its second double murder. The latest incident occurred in Petersfield early this morning.
Dead are 43 year old Darwin Jones and 41 year old Sheldon Jones, both masons of the same community.
The men are said to be brothers. Reports from the Police are that about 12am, resident head explosions and about 5am, both men were found at the back of their house suffering from gunshot wounds. They were pronounced dead at hospital.
 Just three days ago, on New Years Day, 22 year old Tajay Stewart and 29 year old Damar Martin were shot and killed in Cornwall Mountain.
A person of interest has been identified as investigations continue into their deaths.
