Greater COVID-19 restrictions could be placed on Westmoreland ahead of  the Christmas holidays amid what Health Minister Dr. Christopher Tufton says has been a worrying spike in cases in the parish.
Dr. Tufton said the authorities will be watching developments there over the next few days to determine whether a clampdown should be imposed.
Speaking in the House of Representatives yesterday (Tues), Dr. Tufton said there had been more than 100 new COVID-19 cases and 10 deaths in Westmoreland over the last two weeks.
