The investigation into rapper 2Pac’s murder has gotten a jolt of life in Las Vegas.

Celebrity website TMZ reports that the Las Vegas Metro Police Department visited a Nevada home in connection with the rapper’s murder that occurred almost three decades earlier.

This week, detectives served a search warrant at a house in Henderson, around 20 miles from Las Vegas city limits. No one has been taken into custody.

Last month, Tupac Shakur’s biological father Billy Garland sat down with The Art of Dialogue to say he believes the U.S. government was involved in his son’s death.

Tupac was shot one block from the Las Vegas Strip on September 7, 1996, and later succumbed to his injuries on September 13.

He was 25. No arrests have been made in connection to his death.
